Terms of Service

AskMyCoach connects your Intervals.icu training data to AI assistants (such as Claude and ChatGPT) via the Model Context Protocol (MCP). It allows athletes to share training data with AI tools, and optionally with their coaches, through secure, token-based access.

• You must provide accurate information when creating an account.
• You are responsible for keeping your password and MCP tokens confidential.
• You must be at least 16 years old to use the Service.
• One person may not create multiple accounts to circumvent restrictions or bans.

• Athletes control which coaches can access their data and what tools those coaches can use. Access can be revoked at any time.
• Coaches access athlete data only through MCP URLs explicitly granted by the athlete.
• AskMyCoach does not verify the credentials, qualifications, or identity of coaches. Athletes grant access at their own discretion.

• Intervals.icu: You connect your Intervals.icu account by providing an API key. AskMyCoach uses this key to retrieve training data on your behalf. You remain bound by Intervals.icu's own Terms of Service.
• AI providers: When you or your coach uses an MCP URL with an AI assistant, data is sent to that AI provider (Anthropic, OpenAI, etc.) subject to their terms. AskMyCoach is not responsible for how those providers handle data.

You agree not to:

• Use the Service for any unlawful purpose.
• Attempt to access another user's data without authorisation.
• Scrape, overload, or otherwise abuse the platform's infrastructure.
• Share MCP URLs publicly or with parties other than intended coaches.
• Reverse-engineer or attempt to extract source code from the Service.

MCP URLs contain access tokens that grant direct read (and optionally write) access to your Intervals.icu data. Treat them like passwords. If a token is compromised, regenerate it immediately from your Dashboard. Regeneration instantly invalidates the previous token.

We aim to keep the Service running but provide no uptime guarantee. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue features at any time. We will give reasonable notice of material changes where possible.

You may delete your account at any time from Settings → Delete Account. This permanently removes all your data. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. AskMyCoach is a tool for accessing and sharing training data — it is not a medical, coaching, or training service. Any AI-generated insights should not replace professional advice.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, AskMyCoach shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service, including loss of data or decisions made based on AI-generated output.
